Architectural columnist, lecturer of MARSH, producer of the hall "Citizen"
Today culture is a "lifeline" of the city: it is culture that keeps city integrity, provides residents with the opportunity to realize themselves as citizens. Being an agent of rapid changes this "software" that can fill with life even the most strange and weird places fuels hopes in anticipation of the physical transformation of the city and this is always expensive and slow. Actually, this process we now see in Moscow, where over the past three years it has become a bit easier to dream of a better architecture, better parks, better embankments and even better industrial areas. So the decision to hold the Moscow Cultural Forum was made at the right moment. The Forum will help participants to learn more about their possibilities, potential partners, existing working methods and new experiments. It is a good time to observe understood/happened things and to determine the horizon of future goals - precise, clear and courageous.
