FESTIVAL DAY COMPLETED THE PROGRAM OF THE MOSCOW CULTURAL FORUM
Performances, concerts, film shows with free admission for all visitors became worthy ending of the I Moscow Cultural Forum, which took place in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" from 15 to 18 October.
Special festival programs were held on the final day of the Forum from morning till night at all venues. The action began with a showing of the film “The Russian Modern Design” about Russian designers, then Big Animation Festival presented his collection of animations. Film show "The Last limousine" and a storytelling from the Meyerhold Center about the well-known Russian fairy tale character the Frog Princess were presented to the guests of "Manege" during the daytime. Many visitors came to the "Manege" with children and it was worth it, because "The Little Round Bun/Kolobok" performance, playing with the robot and a trip around the "Cardboard Land” took place at the Playground of the Forum.
In the evening program, there were also many events that could not be missed: the premiere of the new production "Jealousy" by Vasily Barkhatov, the gala concert of the participants of “Usadba Jazz” festival and the dance performance "Frozen Laughter" by "Moscow Ballet", film show "Elektromoskva" and another storytelling - this time by the Pushkin Theatre. The festival day, as well as the entire Forum, was finished with reading of "Lyubimovka" festival plays.
I Moscow International Cultural Forum, organized by the Moscow Department of Culture, is an open public project and at the same time the amount of events that are important for the international community of experts in the field of culture, science and art. The Forum has become the first experience of professional analysis and discussion of the changes of the metropolitan cultural environment in recent years, and has formed the agenda for further development.
